Dr. Becky Brennan was born and raised near Kansas City, Missouri and is a life-long fan of the Chiefs and Royals.
She earned her bachelor’s degree at Kansas State University (Go Cats!) before moving to Louisiana to earn her Masters of Public Health at LSU Health Sciences Center and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!).
As a general practitioner, Dr. Brennan endeavors to fortify the bond between pets and their people. She strives to advocate for the well-being of all her patients by offering gold standard medicine and providing education, compassion, and support to her clients. While she appreciates all aspects of veterinary medicine, her main areas of interest include nutrition, integrative medicine, surgery, and most importantly, dentistry. Currently, she is working to complete her certification in companion animal acupuncture and become a certified cat friendly practitioner. Additionally, Dr. Brennan is licensed to practice in both Louisiana and Texas.
In her free time, Dr. Brennan enjoys exploring Austin, traveling, gardening, staying active, and spending time with her friends and family. She shares her home and with two pets she “foster failed” during vet school. A mischievous but sweet cat, Charlie, who thinks he’s a dog and likes playing fetch; and a big, loveable goofball dog, "One-eyed" Jack, who wants to be anywhere she is and will often sing for his breakfast.
Dr. Brennan is excited and grateful for the opportunity to join our incredible community and provide care to the pets and people in the Austin area.
