Randi grew up in Fort Worth, TX and moved to the Austin area in November of 2018.
She has been in the veterinary field for 21 years and began her career as a veterinary customer service representative. That role sparked her passion and love for veterinary medicine and as her interest in the medical aspect of vet med continued to grow, she quickly decided she wanted to become a veterinary technician. Randi has an insatiable zest for learning and in addition to being a hospital manager, she is also currently enrolled in the Penn Foster program to become a licensed veterinary technician (LVT). Her main medical interests in veterinary medicine are dentistry and surgery, as well as internal med and behavior. She also previously had a dog training and petsitting business for 7 years as well. She also greatly loves developing relationships with clients and playing a vital role in the human/animal bond.
Randi has been in the Crestview Veterinary Clinic family since September of 2020. She started at the Burnet location, and has continued to grow, starting as a veterinary technician, then moving to lead surgery center technician, before becoming lead veterinary technician. Being in a leadership role has ignited a new passion for teaching, mentoring, and empowering veterinary support staff. She prides herself in being a kind, empathetic, and compassionate leader.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time snuggling with Hazel, her Great Dane and her two cats P.J. and Bear. She also enjoys running, weight lifting, gardening, and hiking (whenever she gets a chance). Watching football and baseball (go Rangers!) are her favorite pastimes. Gig ‘em Aggies! And let’s go Cowboys (that’s right, she did grow up in Fort Worth after all).
Randi is so incredibly excited to be a member of the Crestview Veterinary Clinic Tech Ridge family and is looking forward to many wonderful years of helping her team and community by providing the very best team support, the highest level of client care and top notch veterinary care for all of our patients.
